Elizabeth's Approach to Counseling.

I believe counseling is a journey, and you remain in the driver’s seat. You decide where you would like to go, while my role is to sit alongside you as you explore different routes, navigate obstacles, and move toward meaningful change. You do not need to have your destination completely figured out before beginning therapy.

My approach is primarily person-centered and grounded in talk therapy. I also incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other evidence-based strategies based on your individual needs and goals. Together, we may identify patterns, strengthen coping skills, and turn insight into practical changes at a pace that respects your readiness. When working with couples and families, I help clients strengthen communication, better understand one another’s experiences, establish healthier boundaries, and develop more constructive ways of navigating conflict.
